LEGAL WARRANTY is the policy that, in accordance with current legislation, we offer with a validity of three years from the date of delivery of the product, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, as amended by Royal Decree-Law 7/2021, of April 27, relating to consumer rights in the purchase and sale of goods.
Etnnic guarantees its electric tricycles against any lack of conformity, understood exclusively as manufacturing or material defects existing at the time of delivery and which manifest themselves within the legal warranty period of three years.
Damage resulting from misuse, regular wear and tear, inadequate maintenance or unauthorized interventions are excluded from this warranty.
To exercise this warranty, the user must provide a copy of the purchase invoice for the tricycle.
The user must keep the product in good condition of use, following the instructions for use, maintenance and safety included in the product manual*. Etnnic may deny a warranty claim if the defect results from a breach of these instructions.
*Maintenance and safety instructions include: completing the maintenance sheet in a qualified workshop, respecting inspection intervals, avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture or rain, changing wear components when necessary (chain, brakes, tires, etc.) and not manipulating the electrical system without technical authorization.
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
Negligent or inappropriate use of the tricycle
Assembly of components that are not original or not authorized by Etnnic.
Repairs or manipulations carried out by unauthorized personnel.
Damage caused by accidents, shocks or falls.
Normal wear and tear of consumable parts.
Brake pads and discs.
Tires and cameras.
Grips and pedals.
Seals, bearings and screws.
Brake or shift cables and covers.
Rubber elements or coatings.
Batteries with degradation within normal parameters of use.
Important:
If the product is returned for revision or replacement, the customer must send it properly protected. Although it is not mandatory to keep the original packaging, one of equivalent dimensions and protection must be used. If disproportionate packaging is used that generates an unjustified logistical extra cost, Etnnic reserves the right to pass this additional cost on to the customer.
To process the warranty, the customer must go to the dealer where he purchased the tricycle or contact Etnnic directly through the web form or customer service email. You will receive the necessary instructions for shipping the product.
Our technicians will evaluate the defect to determine if it is a lack of conformity covered by the warranty. If repair is not possible, the affected component will be replaced with another with similar characteristics. If this option is not possible either, Etnnic may offer an equivalent component.
